Its funny how a new idea can suddenly strike.<\/p>\n

I was drinking my third cup of\u00a0earl grey this morning, contemplating the day ahead, when it happened.<\/p>\n

I’d just put the finishing touches to\u00a0these two…<\/p>\n

I was thinking about something that’s happening on Friday. Something exciting…<\/p>\n

I’m meeting a possible new stockist and I want to have some good stuff to show them. Something other than just<\/em> dolls.<\/p>\n

So I made some brooches…<\/p>\n

I like the idea of wearable<\/em> dolls…<\/p>\n

If you’re wondering where the vintage fabric comes in, well, the faces are made from vintage linen curtain lining.<\/p>\n

And take a look at the backs…<\/p>\n

I’ve still got a few other ideas up my sleeve, too.<\/p>\n

I’m dog-sitting tomorrow, and my waggy-tailed charge\u00a0demands a lot of my attention, so I won’t have a whole heap\u00a0of time to\u00a0put them into effect before Friday.<\/p>\n

But it’s great to feel a bit of creative inspiration stirring again.<\/p>\n

Even if really, all along it was staring me in the face.\u00a0\u2665<\/p>\n
