I’ve been having a bit of a think recently.<\/p>\n

About new things to make. Or more, rather, about new ways of presenting things I make, to make them more attractive and desirable.<\/p>\n

I still want to make little characters, because that’s what brings me most joy to create.<\/p>\n

Like this one…<\/p>\n

Molly Mouse turned out all right in the end, although at one point I wasn’t sure that she was going to.<\/p>\n

I was only just able to turn her right-side-out,\u00a0a common problem when making new tiny things. It’s really hard to know exactly how<\/em> tiny to go first-time-around, and bits of her got stuck in the turning, which\u00a0caused me some mutterings.<\/p>\n

But we got there in the end.<\/p>\n

This is how tiny Molly is:<\/p>\n

I’d go even smaller if I could, but I’m not sure my equipment (including my eyes) is up to it.<\/p>\n

Anyway, Molly is a bit little\u00a0and not really up for any rough\u00a0handling, so I thought that she might appreciate being decorative, rather than useful.<\/p>\n

She, and other creatures like her, are going to be given little boxes to live in,\u00a0to\u00a0hang on the wall…<\/p>\n

I’m not sure yet about the\u00a0background. That\u00a0fabric, a very recent acquisition\u00a0from Ticking Stripes<\/a>, is lovely, but\u00a0just one of many possibilities.<\/p>\n

I could also\u00a0add other bits and bobs to her little home…<\/p>\n

Anyway, I have more\u00a0thing-in-a-box ideas brewing.<\/p>\n

I just need to find me a supply of suitable boxes now.\u00a0\u2665<\/p>\n
