<\/a> I never used to class myself as a scarf-wearer.<\/p>\n At least, not the non-woollen “indoor” sort of scarf.<\/p>\n I remember my boss in one job a good fifteen years ago bought me a floral chiffon scarf for my birthday. My ungrateful younger self thought, “a SCARF? What does she take me for – someone middle-aged?”<\/p>\n My, how times have changed.<\/p>\n These days scarves are worn by young people, even\u00a0men<\/em>, without risk of sneering ridicule.<\/p>\n And I could be described as middle-aged.<\/p>\n I’m not sure which of the above is responsible, but nowadays I\u00a0like<\/em> scarves.<\/p>\n Especially when they’re as cheap and cheerful as these, which cost only a pound or two each.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/a>I got most of the lovely stack of scarves pictured from the same vintage emporium whence came my Crimplene crush<\/a>.<\/p>\n I’m happy to wear them, but in some ways it seems a shame. You can’t see those fabulous designs when they are folded up and wrapped around your neck.<\/p>\n <\/a>So, I’m tempted to do something else with them instead.<\/p>\n With the largest nearly a metre square, they’re a bit big for cushions – even floor cushions.<\/p>\n Similarly, they could be framed, but I’d need a lot<\/em> of wall space.<\/p>\n I love<\/em> what Ouno Design<\/a> do with theirs:<\/p>\n <\/a>Unfortunately, that idea might mean I have to try and hunt down a few more… \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I never used to class myself as a scarf-wearer.
