This was my favorite book as a child that my mother read to me in the early 60’s. I looked for this book in antique stores for over 40 years without knowing it’s title. As faith has it, I accidentally ran across it at a client’s home last year, (Katy Did version) and today I found another copy (Katy’s First Day) at an antique store. What a lovely treat reminensing what my heart remembers.
How lovely! It’s always good to reconnect with a childhood favourite. We have been tidying my nearly-20 year old son’s bedroom and I was adamant that we don’t get rid of his favourite childhood books. One day he will want to revisit them, perhaps with his own children.
