I love London.

I have never wanted to actually live here, as I am by nature a small-town girl.

But I do love to visit.

Happiness is strolling down the street, all of us together, arm in arm with my sister and my nieces, lad and his lad cousin skipping alongside, big smiles on all our faces, big city all around us.

We have eaten cake. We have oooohhed and aaahhhed at all the lovely things in Liberty. The boys have tried every toy possible in Hamleys toyshop.

We laugh in the face of the rain, and the traffic, and the exorbitant prices. We are soaking up the sights, sounds and smells of the city.

We have more fun planned over the next few days.

We revel in one another’s company.

We are storing it all away, saving up the memories for a rainy day.

Big smiles. Big city.
