Yesterday’s charity shop find was a corker.
I don’t know what these sheets of printed fabric bearing children’s designs were meant to be originally, but I love them!
They came from the charity shop round the corner. I think I’m going to have to reassess my opinion of that place, having had a few lucky finds there recently.
I’m going to turn them into plushies / pincushions. I can just see a big basket of them on my stall.
I especially love the worm! Is that a sun hat he’s wearing, or a tin helmet?
But my all-time favourite has to be the nun.
I mean, what is she doing there, in amongst the zebras and dancing hippos and mighty mouse for goodness sake?!
And she looks like she’s winking…
Perhaps she’s a naughty nun.
Or just a bit playful.
Whatever, she’s second to none (groan) as far as I’m concerned.
If anyone fancies a miniature cuddly nun, you know where to come. ♥
