stalled

modflowers: circle broochesSo, I had a sale of my old stock – and it all went!

Amazing!

Thank you to everyone that shopped. (And apologies to the person whose order I appear to have lost somewhere – I have put something in the post for you to hopefully make up for it.)

I still have my dolls – they will go on sale at some point, I promise.

modflowers dolls: rabbit-ear creaturesBut I have shed the baggage of my cushion stash, which had been malingering in our spare bedroom for some time.

And now, I have the lovely Sherwood Secret Garden Craft Fair in June to prepare for – and nothing much, as yet, to put on my stall.

Don’t get me wrong, I have no regrets.

It feels good to be free. But free to do what, exactly?

modflowers: flower pursesI have made loads of things in my time, not just cushions.

Purses. Bags. Phone cases. Dolls. Brooches. Necklaces. Boxes. Pictures. Owls. Mice. Garlands. Cats. (Lots of cats!)

I’m not necessarily done making any of the above. But I am struggling to work out what, exactly, I should be making next.

modflowers: doll face pinsSo I’m asking you, my friends, to tell me what you think.

What should I make to sell on my stall, and what should I make to sell online in my Etsy shop, which I plan to reopen shortly.

Leave me a comment over the weekend with your thoughts – and I’ll send a little thank you present to the person who makes the suggestion I like the best.

Thank you to everyone in advance! ♥

  1. Re-loved clothing – blouses, skirts, cardis etc, from charity shops – current styles, clean but boring stuff – funked up with vintage trim on pockets, plackets, collars and cuffs, hemlines, necklines … Something to brighten up a working day or bring sunshine to a weekend. T-shirts with a vintage patch pocket or even a bit of stitching … really simple elastic waist skirts for little girls, appliqued t shirts for kids, proper old fashioned girls sundresses like our grannies made for us in the Seventies, A line columns with little straps. Oooh, second hand denim with floral bits – linings in denim jackets, turn-ups on jeans …. getting a bit carried away now! xxx

  2. Did you ever made a flower dress? I like your style very much, but I have only followed you for a short time, so I don’t know which products you made. Maybe a flower dress for dolls and real girls….
