Sometimes you find something that just makes your heart sing.

Mine did when I spotted this – a tablecloth and matching set of napkins. In perfect condition. Not a stain to be found anywhere.

They look homemade and unused. Perhaps an unappreciated gift, one that the recipient didn’t like?

I like them. I like them a lot.

And they make lovely cushions…

In fact, I like them so much that I’m tempted to keep one or two for myself.

They also look nice on my bed…

But I haven’t told you the best thing yet…

You know how difficult it can be to cut into a lovely piece of vintage fabric?

Well, with these, there was no need to cut them. Trim off that fringed edge and they were already the perfect size.

The edges had even already been overlocked!

There is the tablecloth of course…

But I might leave that whole and turn it into a quilt.

My only real sacrifice will be letting them go. ♥
