I couldn’t get myself into gear yesterday.

I’m not sure why. Though it may have something to do with the shock to the system this week of the return to school. My body clock has not yet fully adjusted from 8.30 to 6.30 am starts.

Anyway, I did have big plans for the day. I was going to get my Etsy shop re-stocked and re-opened, finish off a further batch of mini moggies, order supplies for my makings for forthcoming stalls, and hoover the stairs and landing.

Instead, I spent a long time staring at Pinterest and slightly less time playing with my sewing machine’s embroidery settings, whilst drinking copious mugs of Earl Grey tea.

I then ate an enormous meal of the previous night’s leftovers: homemade curry, rice and patra.

My indolence left me feeling lazy, full and just a little bit ashamed at myself.

But I did at least get my first lot of moggies stuffed, and some photos taken of the results (of which these are a few).

So all was not lost.

The boys are both playing footie this morning, so I do, in theory, have a bit of sneaky catch-up time.

As long as I can manage to resist the urge to spend it sleeping. ♥
