I’ve finally found it.

It’s a strange feeling…

I never really expected to complete my collection. And I haven’t really been looking.

My Carlton Ware bird dishes have got too expensive these days to splash out on.

But although I didn’t usually bother checking, I did still have an old alert set up on Ebay in case any came up.

Yesterday, one did. But not just any one. The one.

The only design (as far as I know) that I don’t yet have. And in the perfect colour.

I suppose I could have asked for it for Christmas. But I didn’t want to miss it.

Sometimes these things just have to be grabbed when they appear. Time and Ebay waits for no-one.

I just couldn’t resist. Despite the expense.

The collection isn’t really complete of course. Each design comes in several colours and I don’t have them all.

But I don’t need them.

My collection is complete enough for me.

Now, time to delete that Ebay alert… just to prevent further temptation. ♥
