Almost anything can be improved with the addition of vintage florals, in my humble opinion.

I think it would be reasonably easy to make one of those – I did something similar made from cardboard when lad dressed up as Skulduggery Pleasant for World Book Day at school. A bit of interfacing, some careful measurement, and voila!
I have a secret wildly floral lining in my otherwise rather severe raincoat. Of course, I mostly wear it flapping open!
I have a black jacket like that! I used to wear it to work and it cheered me up to know that under all that black and those other sombre colours I had to wear there was a riot of colour going on. 🙂 (I was definitely in the wrong job!)
