Today is a sad day for our family. We got up at 3am to see off my sister and her children, who are flying back to Australia today.

But I have decided to gather myself and not go on about that. You have probably read quite enough posts about my family recently.

And I’m well overdue for a post about something I have made. Probably because I haven’t been doing very much making whilst my family has been here.

Apart from a little project using this lot, that is…

So rather than tell you about the heaviness in my heart today, I am going to skip forward to next month.

I have a big thrill to look forward to. It’s a real first for me, actually…

The reason being that I should, all being well, be seeing a design of mine featured in Molly Makes digital sister magazine, Gathered by Mollie Makes.

I can’t show you properly, because it mustn’t be published anywhere prior to appearing in Gathered.

But some of you might be able to guess what it is.It’s all very exciting for me, as it’s the first time I have been commissioned to produce anything for a magazine.

So if you fancy checking me out, I think the issue will be due out on 28th February.

And do check out Gathered by Mollie Makes, which comes out weekly, in the meantime. I think you might like it.

It’s full of lots of lovely, crafty stuff.
