I spent yesterday making stuff for my stall on Saturday, and I shall be spending today doing the same.

These envelope purses are fun to make. There is both machining and hand sewing involved, which pleases me.

But most of all I like making them because they involve my favourite activity: choosing fabric combinations.

And then, the cherry on top: the selection of the most suitable vintage button to adorn the front…

I love all the bright colour combinations.

But sometimes, the eye is drawn to something more restful…

It’s a bit of an odd-man-out in my current collection.

But perhaps that’s why I like it so much. ♥
