I have a confession to make. I have a secret, tucked away where nobody can see it.

Hidden away in the vaults of wordpress.com I actually have a secret blog.

Don’t worry though, you’re not missing anything. My secret blog doesn’t have a lot going on.

Well, not usually…

But over the last few days I have been busy over there. I have been fiddling and faddling, primping and preening, messing and experimenting.

I have been working on a new look for modflowers.wordpress.com. My blog is getting a makeover. And I have been testing it all out, over on the secret blog.

The pics on this post are the ideas that didn’t quite work, the bits I scrumpled up and threw in the cyber-bin.It’s nearly ready now. I have decided to launch the new look when I hit 500 followers.

Because despite not being a numbers person, I feel the need for some sort of milestone upon which to hang my big reveal.

That, and it gives me an excuse to pfaff and fiddle for a bit longer.

So, just two more followers to go.

Hopefully it won’t be long until the big reveal. It would be somewhat irritating to be stuck for six months, unable to go back on my word and unable to go public.

And I think a Spring makeover would be nice.
