As you may have noticed, things have been a bit quiet on the modflowers front this week.
To be honest, I have just felt a lack of energy. For anything much. And what little energy I have had has been directed in other, well, directions.
Like working on my quilt commission. And making some matching bunting (pictures to follow).
Perhaps it’s the approach of the summer holidays. I do need to gather up strength and energy for entertaining lad.
And… we’ll be off camping in France with friends in a few weeks time. Yay!
It’s also partly the effect of the heat. I love the summer, but I do tend to wilt a bit. And it’s just too nice not to spend time in the garden. After all, we’re forced indoors most of the year.
I did find time to redesign my Etsy shop banner as I fancied a change…
And I have had a bit of a fabric-buying spree…This lovely apple and cherry design is just a taste of what’s to come…
So there we are. Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet.
I’m actually feeling a bit tired and hot now.
I think maybe it’s about time for a cold drink and little rest… ♥
Glad it’s not just me then. I always feel the need to be outside when weather is hot. You have been missed though but enjoy the sun!
I feel like that too! Especially with the summer holidays coming up. I live the green fabric! Green is my favourite colour and that is such a pretty print. Xxx
Dear, don’t hide in your garage! Sit out on the porch for a breeze, or a patio chair w/ maybe an umbrella! I am very lucky in a way, though, my whole yard is shaded and MOST of the time there is a good amount of breeze coming through because we live on the side of a hill!
I love the new Etsy banner. I’m totally wilted here, too. It’s too hot to even be in the garden for long, which makes me so sad. Have you ever checked out the Etsy shop “Uncle Buck’s Trunk”? She’s an old friend who sells vintage linens. Some of them might be great to upcycle for your projects. She finds designs that are really cute and funny (she’s an improv comedian).

Oh dear, it doesn’t. I just get a message from Etsy that says “Uh oh! Sorry, the page you were looking for was not found”.
That is so frustrating. You could try searching “Vintage Swedish Placemat Pair Fun Birds”. It’s the only one that comes up when I entered it (and its the thing that I saw and immediately thought of you). I hope you don’t think I’m sending you on a wild goose hunt.
