Today I have been feeling a little behind the times, somewhat dispirited and kind of can’t-be-bothered.
I’m not sure why.
I have a ton of stuff to do, but have had trouble rousing myself to actually start doing any of it.
So the Twiggy Pledge could be just what I need…
The Twiggy Pledge is the idea of Karli Plant of Retro Plants.
The way I read it, the pledge is all about making an effort.
Something I sadly need to do a bit more of.
No matter which photo of Twiggy you care to pick, she doesn’t look like she would spend all day lolling around browsing Pinterest, does she?

Personally, I’m not about to start sporting a mini skirt and drawing on giant eyelashes.
But glamorising my days and making a bit more of an effort is something that’s definitely on the agenda.
Especially now that spring is finally here.
I once read a book (don’t ask me what it was called) but the main character always asked what would Madonna do in any given situation. Bear in mind this was the early 90’s when Madonna was a bit of an icon. I’m loving the Twiggy pledge and am off to visit Retro Plants … have a Twiggy like week … Sarah x
